We are pleased to inform that 5 best young Rwandan writers have been selected to be sponsored by or through Isaro Foundation. This year the selection was very competitive; hundreds of young Rwandan writers submitted their books. Our goal was to sponsor as many as we can, but because of means, we were only able to support some of them. We notified those who were selected by email and we will make them public after they sign an MOU with us in the near future. We strongly encourage young Rwandans with the talent to write books to write and especially write on their country. To those who were not selected this year, you still have a chance next year. Our goal is to support all young Rwandan writers.

Statement from Isaro Foundation on the 18th Anniversary of the Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda
Today, Rwanda remembers for the 18th time one of the bloodiest horrors in the human history. The Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda was a failure for the human race, especially a total intellectual failure. As we put together our efforts to rebuild our country, we should never accept that such a tragedy happens anywhere else on the planet. Only the struggle to fighting ignorance, intolerance and impunity will keep Rwanda united and peaceful for her lifetime. We, the youth, hold the future of this nation.
